Until today, paying for work on this platform didn't really finish anywhere. You could pay for a marketplace deal, but nothing recorded that the money was owed onward to the creator; campaign line items had a budget and no way to pay it at all; and creators on the opportunities side did the entire job before a rupee changed hands. That's now one arrangement across all three: the advertiser pays when the work is agreed, we hold it, and it goes to the creator when the advertiser approves what was delivered.
Money is held, not passed straight through
- You pay once the other side has accepted. A marketplace deal, an opportunities booking and a campaign line item now all take payment at the same point — when the creator has accepted and the work is real. Campaign line items could never be paid before; the budget sat on the slot with nothing to do.
- We hold it until you approve the delivery. Approving the work is what releases it. Nothing releases on the creator marking their own work complete, and nothing releases while a dispute is open — a disputed job freezes where it stands until it's resolved.
- The creator receives the agreed price less our commission , and can see which state their money is in rather than guessing.
- A cancelled or refunded booking never becomes a tax invoice , so there's nothing to reverse later.
Prices now show tax before you pay, not after
- Tax is added on top of the agreed price and shown before you leave the site. A ₹50,000 booking is charged as ₹50,000 plus GST, and the exact total appears before the payment page opens. Quoting one number and charging another is the kind of surprise that stops a payment at the last step.
- The amount comes from the booking itself. Nothing about the price is decided in your browser, so a payment can only ever be for what was actually agreed.
Card, UPI and netbanking for rupees; PayPal for everything else
- Your workspace currency decides the payment method. Rupee payments go through PayU — card, UPI, netbanking or wallet — and anything else goes through PayPal. There's no method to choose, because there was never really a choice: a workspace has one currency.
- A payment is confirmed with the payment provider, never taken on trust from the browser. If you close the tab or lose your connection on the way back, the platform checks with the provider and settles it anyway, within fifteen minutes — so a payment that went through can't go missing, and one that failed doesn't leave a booking stuck half-paid.
Your invoice details, in one place
- Settings → Billing information now holds the legal name, billing email, address and GSTIN that appear on your invoices. None of it existed before.
- The GSTIN is checked against your address. The first two digits of a GSTIN are its state, so entering a Maharashtra GSTIN against a Bengaluru address is caught while you type rather than turning up on a document later.
